First rule of thumb, comfort first! But if they’re Jimmy Choo’s then all bets are off! 🙂 Well, it may also depend on the shoe and situation. But I do love a good Jimmy Choo heel, I mean am I right!?!!! Who doesn’t love JIMMY CHOO!! <3
My go-to shoe of choice lately have been flats. Whether it be a loafer, slip-on sneaker, brogues you name it I’m wearing it. I couldn’t be happier that flats– particularly loafers and brogues are on trend and back in style. As much as I appreciate and LOVE heels, I always think: “Comfort first,” no matter what the occasion may be. And let me tell you, when I’m wearing any form of flats it’s like walking on clouds, and not to mention my feet are beyond thankful. This menswear inspired footwear comes in varying styles and price points. Very versatile, stylish and suitable for any outfit and occasion. A trend I believe will be around for awhile. Here are a few of my favorites. Shop these styles by clicking the links below.

The Shopstyle Social House was one event that I was SUPER excited about this season. I was thrilled to get invited to the Social House again and experience it all this NYFW SS17. I started my day with the Dan Liu show at the Skylight Clarkson Gallery. Then I headed uptown to the Glasshouses for the ShopStyle Social House event. This was one event I was looking forward to since I got the invitation. I was so happy and thrilled to experience and enjoy it all with my gal pal and fellow blogger friend Loren. She’s the writer and creator behind the blog: Enlightened By Bravery. If you aren’t following her yet, you should. She’s just a great women, with great style and an amazing personality. Such a beautiful soul she has, and I’m happy to have met her. Check her blog out: www.enlightenbybravery.com and her Instagram: @EnlightedByBravery.
This look was my favorite outfit I wore during NYFW. Probably not the best choice for that particular day though, because it felt like a sauna outside in early September. But hey, it’s all in the name of fashion. And let’s be honest, I’m a slave to FASHION. Rock it and own it, which is exactly what I did. What’s great about this dress is that it still can be worn and style for the Fall months. Can’t wait to style and rock the look again soon.
We enjoyed getting our hair done by the hairstylist there that day. Sipped on champagne and Rose, browsed the clothing racks to borrow some FAB pieces to rock during NYFW. Thanks to Shopstyle, Sole Society, The Outnet Iris and Ink and Sam Edelman, for keeping me looking stylish and fashionably chic all throughout NYFW. We were also gifted great cross body bags by Gigi New York which were personally monogrammed for us by the Gigi New York staff. It was great to meet old and new friends as well as connecting with all the vendors at the event.
