SFB Fall Look: Shades of Olive Green

Posted on: September 28, 2018

“I have always believed that fashion was not only to make women more beautiful, but also to reassure them, give them confidence.” — Yves Saint Laurent

I love taking great staple pieces and dressing them up and accessorizing! When you look good you feel even better. Loved this look that I styled. I wore this outfit to a Red Carpet event in New York City. It was super chic and fashionable. A simple look, but super glam all at the same time. I paired it with these stunning rose gold heels by Who What Wear. What I also love about this look its very versatile. You can dress it up, down, whatever you decide you’ll be looking fashionable and fabulous.

If your looking to style this for a more dressed down, casual look, pair it with some white sneakers and a jean jacket. For a more dressy night out look wear some fun black patterned tights, black or tan knee high boots and either a black blazer or even an overcoat. The possibilities are endless with this number. I would definitely wear this look again, and definitely style it in different ways. I’ll most definitely share via Instagram,  Pinterest, and my other social media platforms.

Fashion Fridays: Winter Essential and Accessories keeping you warm but staying fierce and Fashionably Chic!

Posted on: January 22, 2016

Baby it’s cold outside…… BRRRRRRRR

With the cold weather upon us its time to layer up and bundle up . A couple months ago, I posted a photo on my instagram (@SocialFashionistaBeauty) where I was bundled and layered up for the cold weather. And a lot of you asked about my go to fashion wears during those cold, frigid winter days.

Ask and you shall recieve, here it is—here I’ll share my #FlashbackFriday winter photos of me and my fashion go tos, and my go to fashion essentials (price points, brands, etc) and places to shop these fab items to keep me warm but still looking fashionably chic. It may be cold outside but it doesn’t mean you can’t still look stylish and chic!!

I’m all about the fur whether it’s real fur or faux fur,  it’s uber chic and fashionable.  Fur can definitely dress up even the most casual outfit. If you’re into fur too, try  and incorporate in your winter wardrobe. Fur is versatile too, whether your going casual or even dressed up, either way you’ll feel warm and cozy and look oh so fierce.

Whoever invented and designed the blanket scarf is a genius! I just love the blanket scarf, great for laying and bundling up for those cold days. The blanket scarf is so long with lots to work with, it can be work in many different ways . Dress it up, dress it down either way you’ll still look stylish and keep warm too! Try wearing wearing over your sweaters like a poncho, you’ll take you’re outfit to the next level.

Those big puffy coats aren’t always the most flattering and fashionable. But they definitely keep you warm. Sticking to fashion and staying on point, shop for a coat with fur details around the hood. Your street style will be on trend and on point, still feeling and looking comfy but you’re overall look on fleek.

The items listed may be pricey, these are just examples I used on my polyvore collage. BUT don’t fear you can find these items for a more affordable cost.  Forever 21, Macy’s, Zara, H&M, and so many others all have variations of these winter fashion staples and more. Fashion is everywhere, so just go with your personal style and work it girl! These are just a few of my staples, and what I used to keep warm. I may like to splurge here and there but I won’t turn down a sale or bargain, I mean who wouldn’t!! 🙂

Two of my favorite places that have the best bargains but still have the latest in fashion trends is at: Century 21 and Nordstrom Rack. I will admit I do like to splurge a little on designer wears, but Century 21 and Nordstrom Rack sell designer clothing, accessories and more for a fraction of the cost.  Great discounts and bargains guarenteed. Who could EVER pass up a good bargain, am I right!?!?!?!?

Have fun with your wardrobe. And remember just because it’s cold out, it doesn’t mean you can’t look chic, stylish, and fashionable. Enjoy and stay warm and cozy during these winter months.  For more fashion, style, tips, and trends stay tuned my loves!
