SFB Summer Ready Style

Posted on: May 19, 2017

Happy Fri-Yay!

It’s another beautiful, hot sunny day here in NYC. Is this a sign that Summer has arrived?!? As the weather starts to get nicer and warmer, I’m switching out my sweaters for dresses, skirts and jumpsuits. I absolutely LOVE this time of the year. I love wearing dresses and skirts, especially jumpsuits and rompers. They’re lightweight, stylish and so easy to wear. You can’t go wrong with these items!

This Anisha Olive Crepe jumpsuit here will definitely be worn on repeat this Summer. It’s the perfect jumpsuit to own that can be worn in the Spring/Summer and even into the early Fall months. The Olive green hues on this jumpsuit will look absolutely gorgeous on anyone. {Although, it’s very sunning today in NYC,  the jumpsuit color is picking up brown tones when in actuality it’s olive green}.  I love the criss-cross details on the back of the jumpsuit, very flirty and sexy. It’s comfortable and lightweight– great for a nice, hot day like today. This can be worn during the day or even for a night out on the town. For a more comfortable and relaxed looked I’ve paired this outfit with my Black Arizona Shiny Snake Birko-Flor Birkenstocks. The shiny snake skin detail goes nicely with the look and gives off that edgy yet sexy vibe with a more relaxed appeal. To step things up a notch, for a more night time appropriate look, I’ve paired the jumpsuit with my Celine Black leather Espadrille Wedges and my Equipment Abbot Bomber Black mixed python print silk jacket. No matter how you style this jumpsuit, you’ll be looking, fierce, sexy and stylish.

This is one jumpsuit you’ll want to own and add to your wardrobe –trust and believe me. You’re in luck, Shop Tobi is currently having a SALE on their entire website. Shop now, and receive 50% OFF your entire order.  To sweeten the deal, this jumpsuit is also on SALE right, purchase yours today! You’ll want to add this item to your wardrobe. Holiday Style Part II

Posted on: December 23, 2016

Still looking for something to wear for the holidays thats stylish and chic.

Continue reading and seeing how I’ve styled this holiday outfit.

This holiday season has been busy and event(FULL) to say the least. I was fortunate enough to attend a few events with Town & Country. One event that was really fun was the event with Baccarat X Town & Country. The event brought together PR executives, bloggers, associates and Baccarat fans for the opening of Baccarat’s newest pop-up shop located in the Soho/West Village area. If you haven’t shopped at Baccarat before it’s definitely worth all the money. If your still looking for some last minute gifts ideas, be sure to check them out. They have the best items for your home, jewelry, decor and so much more. The evening was amazing, spent with great friends and new friends. This was the outfit I wore to the event.

Outfit Details

All black everything will always be my go-to outfit, why you may ask? It’s chic, elegant and not to mention very classy. A simple black outfit with the right accessories is the perfect holiday outfit that’s quick, easy and simple to put together. My pop of color of the outfit would be what I wear on my feet. But still keeping it classy, chic and stylish. This is one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn this season. This black lace tunic from Zara is the perfect top to wear for any occasion. The ruffle frill sleeves makes the outfit fun, flirty and super glam. Not to mention you’d be on trend and having heads turn wherever you go. Pair it with some black skinny pants as I’ve done here, or even a pleated skirt to dress and spice up the outfit. For shoes, wear some fun bootie heels or even these velvet flats as you see here. These velvet Marc Fisher flats are my absolute favorite this season. They are super comfortable {as if your walking on air} and the velvet detail will dress up any outfit. Velvet is a material that is not only on trend, it’s sleek and chi. Something that will be around in fashion for awhile. So go grab yourself a pair, trust me you won’t be disappointed. To me, this is the perfect outfit to wear for any holiday event. It’s very elegant, classy and super chic. You’ll definitely get the “Best Dressed” award hands down!!

SFB StreetStyle Chic: Denim Style

Posted on: November 18, 2016

So here’s a fun fact about me– during my college days I worked at Jasmine Sola in Boston, MA. While working there, I met some great friends, learned about fashion merchandising and got first hand experience working with the various brands we carried. In addition, I found myself becoming a denim specialist. I learned about various denim designers, the different styles and what style worked for each body type. When shopping for denim, I always say, “It’s always best to try on denim, see how the fit looks and if your derriere looks great their a winner!” Aside from that if they make you feel like a million bucks then it’s a win win. During my retail days, I enjoyed seeing my customers walk out of the store happy and feeling good about themselves, and I was part of that. I’ve always had a love for fashion, but working at Jasmine Sola made me realize my passion for fashion even more.  Since working at Jasmine Sola, my love for fashion and labels have evolved over the years. I will admit, I’m always on the hunt for a fresh new pair of denim to add to my closet. My favorite jeans back then were: Seven Jeans, Joe’s, Paige and Citizens For Humanity to name a few. Nowadays, some of my fave denim brands are: Frame Denim, DL 1961, BlankNYC Jeans, and Rag and Bone.

These ones right here have become a personal favorite lately. The distressed, ripped styled make these great for a chic street style look. As you can see here, I’ve paired these jeans with a simple button down top, loafers and a scarf. Although the look was so simple it was still comfy and stylish all at the same time.  This made for the perfect outfit to walk around the streets of Edinburgh during our visit to the UK back in late August, early September. You can wear this look just about anywhere and you’ll be looking fabulous! If you want to take this look from day to night, add some killer heels, a moto jacket and your favorite lipstick for a pop of color. And just like that you’ll be looking like a badass fashionista ready to hit the town! (Shop my favorites for a night time glam look) Shop my Look below.
